BlackPink Comeback Album Design Concept
Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. I recently joined the Blinks so this is my Christmas gift to everyone! This is my very first design in album artworks so it was new to me. I hope you like my design.
PROCESS
Browsing through previous Blackpink's album artworks I noticed that they are using simple geometric shapes. So yeah I continued my own concept with that trend. The first design I made was 2D design but I wanted it to be creative enough that I can explore new software while making it. So I made two version 3D and 2D :> Below are the process I did when designing it.
3D MODEL VERSION
Tried blender for the first time in a while. took me 2-3 days to learn how to play with lights and textures.
2D VERSION
Made the design in Illustrator then added the cracked texture in Photoshop
